BEEN A BIT HUH?

SORRY BOUT THAT. Short answer: Real life stuff happened. I feel off the grid when school and social life suddenly needed a lot more of my time. But now I need to get back to my hobbies that I feel proud of so expect more soon from us! Right now Charioteer is working his way through Quickening by Tsuji Takeshi (Check it out here) and eventually I want to FINALLY release another Wolf and Spice doujin by Kurogane Gin that I have scanned in a while ago (Check out the first one of his we did here). For now as a sort of I'M SORRY present, check out these couple of short works that I worked on by myself:

Omocha Shounen - Future Release

Yo yo, figured I'd drop a line and keep you all updated! Just finished up the first run through of our next release Omocha Shounen (Toy-Boy), we should have it ready by the end of the week! Stay tuned!

Future Releases: Ranoyoroshi - Toradora / Wolf and Spice

Figured I'd give you guys a look at what we got in the works. Charioteer is working on translating a short hentai manga chapter about a brother who's sister forces him to cross dress in class. Myself, I just finished debinding a doujin by the same author as Spice Girl, Nyankotei. Check it out here. It's mainly a Toradora gag comic followed by some one panels of Wolf and Spice jokes. To wrap it up there's even a short bit with Kyōran Kazoku Nikki, a pretty fun comedy series about....practically anything really haha. Till next time guys!

Lack of updates

Sorry about the lack of updates as of late.  Charioteer and I both had some things to work out, but we're still going strong on another Eva doujin for you guys!  Just wanted to make a post to keep you all updated, as well as to say that we'll be at Katsucon again this year.  I'll be running things on their Volunteer staff as well as hitting up the doujin booths for new releases.  If you're at the con, you might run into us!  Till next post!

Ossu! Just a little tid bit here:  As much as I prefer people to download our releases off our mediafire page, there are other alternates avaible.  At the begining of our translation career, we just had our releases hosted on Fakku and threads on rei-ayanami.com. But then we created this blog to have a spot where people could find our past works and little inside info on our translation process.  But, at least for now, this is just for posting updates and not for viewing the translations online.  For that, you have some options:

Status Update: Wolf and the Rutting Season

Oh hey there, so our release schedule is going to be slightly different.  Turns out Charioteer just finished the translation for this number, so it gets priority over my side project lol.  Here's a sneak peak, expect it soon!

Status Update - Kousoku Kaiten's 2nd Eva Book

Hay, you know what's great? Updates, cause they're awesome.  Anyhoo, sorry for the delay, but I'm currently working on the typesetting phase of this doujin.  Expect a release soon, since all that's left after that is quality checking and upload!

Edit: Typesetting is DONE! And just in time for Christmas too.  Expect an upload later today or tomorrow.

Status Update - Kousoku Kaiten's 2nd Eva Book

Yeahhhhh I know, I'm lazy.  I am working on a release, it's just taking a while since I work a lot of the time.  But I have been making progress, abet slowly.  It's also been a learning experience since this is the first time I've scanned something myself, so technicly the entirety of this project will be a one man job *sobs*.  Here's a preview of the cover and a comparison shot of the raw scans and the finished ones:

Working on scripting the Japanese so it'll be easier to look up, I'm about done, just some pictures left.  I'll let you know when I'm in the homestretch!

This is a quick greeting from your brilliant, handsome, stone-cold, regal, composed, commanding, libertine, modest, and most importantly (though mystifyingly), single, translator, the astounding Supernumerary Charioteer.

In the future you will hear my words of great wisdom regarding aesthetics, obsession, artistry, the human form, obscure etymologies, Classical snobbery from several continents, why it's utterly mystifying that Mengzi is more popular than Han Feizi, how I'm going to stick it to the eroge industry one day by disguising juvenile taunts as games, how to be a proper grammar Nazi, and the proper sound effects for uglies that are currently in the process of bumping.
