A Now For Something Slightly Different...

Hope you all are enjoying this stream of previous releases!  Don't worry, we'll go back to our regularly scheduled lull of content once I have all the old releases up, but first!  I'd like to do something.

Call me crazy, but I like to talk.  A lot.  For a while.  That by itself is bad, so through in some passion with a dash of geekdom and you got yourself a rant.  Eh, it's something I like to do, whether or not it's socially accepted/tolerable has remained to be seen, but I like blowing off steam.  From time to time expect a random post about this, that, or the other.

Today, I'm not going to be long.  Just getting a feel for doing this. But what I'd like to say is that I dig me some animu porn.  <sarcasm> You may not have notice, but it's something I've taken a liking to. </sarcasm> Being a fan of doujins, I tend to buy a few at cons.  And being that this is a blog about a doujin scanlation group, I figure I'd share my treasures that I have obtained during said cons.  The most recent one being Comic Con/Anime Festival.  Twas a fun time, I didn't spend a lot of time at the panels, but I did have a blast in the vendors/dealers room.  Visited a couple of people I've met previously at conventions in the area, the usual vendor that still carries classic eva mech, the doujin vendor attached to the ever present Yaoi Guy (FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF), and also the Fakku booth.  Ever since I've been introduced to Jacob of Fakku back at Katsucon, I make it a point to visit since He is doing me the awesome favor of hosting our releases on Fakku.  Plus, I like shooting the breeze with him, he's a pretty cool guy (though I have to hold down my OMG YOU'RE FAMOUS ON THEM INTERNETS reaction).

But enough about the convention itself, I really should have labeled this a con wrap up if I was going to talk about the con itself, heh heh.  Now on to the loot:

On the far left, we've got Papiko the Maid Machine, art by Eiji Usatsuka the illustrator for the Zero no Tsukaima light novel series. To the right is a book from the Love Shinji x Rei series done by the circle Aihara-Otome (might be recognizable, since we did do another from this circle XP).  Moving on we have Kousoku-kaiten's Eva no Hon 2, featuring main story art by the Artist who designed the characters for Kujibiki Unbalanced (The meta manga in the Genshiken manga, not the "second" manga illstrated by Keito Koume.  This discussion happened before, between myself and the vendor).  And Finally, we've got a nice and short art book by Noizi Ito, Fashionista (She's done countless Eroge artwork and the Haruhi light novel illustrations).

When I shop for doujins, I tend to seek out particular circles regardless of content or H-Level. Hell, half of these particular doujins aren't even pornographic. Call it being a doujin connoisseur, but I gotta have me some quality art man!  Anyhoo, that's all I have for this post.  I'll check in from time to time with my findings.  Later days!
